Game Mechanic Changes

Status Conditions
Paralysis Immobilization chance 25%12.5%. Speed reduction unchanged.
Sleep Caps at 1–2 turns. Turn 1: asleep. Turn 2: 1/3 chance to wake up. Turn 3: guaranteed wake up.
Freeze Guaranteed thaw by turn 3. 20%25% self-thaw chance each turn before the cap.
Battle Mechanics
PP System All moves capped at 20 max PP using the formula maxPP = 4 × (basePP ÷ 5 + 1).
Time Expiry Match automatically ends in a draw when time runs out. Previously determined by remaining Pokémon count and HP.
Intimidate Now drops the Attack of both opposing Pokémon simultaneously instead of one at a time.
Team Preview Shiny Pokémon are now visible to both players during team preview.
Mega Evolution Mega Evolving and switching out occur within the same priority bracket.
Stat Readout Stat change screen now shows the exact multiplier applied, not just stage count.

Ability Changes

New Abilities
Dragonize Converts Normal-type moves to Dragon-type with a 1.2× power multiplier.
Mega Sol Treats weather as permanently sunny for the purpose of the user's moves, regardless of actual weather.
Piercing Drill Contact moves ignore protection (Protect, Detect, King's Shield), but deal only ¼ normal damage when doing so.
Spicy Spray Burns attackers on contact, even if the ability-holder faints from the hit.
Changed Abilities
Unseen Fist Damage dealt through Protect/Detect/King's Shield reduced from 100%25%.
Healer The Pokémon has a 30%50% chance of curing the status conditions of its allies at the end of every turn.

Leech Seed — Corrected an inaccurate in-game description.
Gallade gender display — Tutorial incorrectly showed Gallade as female; now correctly shows male.
Mega Evolution UI — Fixed an issue where hovering Mega Evolution details and pressing B prevented move selection.
Unnerve — Now consistently prevents opposing Pokémon from consuming Berries. Previously some Pokémon could bypass this. Notably affects Aerodactyl's Tailwind + Rock Slide setups.
Held item speed interactions — Speed changes from held items are now correctly reflected in the order that abilities activate.
Networking & visuals — Various networking glitches and visual appearance issues during battles resolved.
